SOUTH HAVEN —
Toni Carroll, 70, of South Haven, died on July 14, 2012, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born on June 14, 1942, in Saginaw, to Ron and Edna (Mooney) Walton.
Toni graduated from St. Francis Catholic High School in Traverse City. She received her B.A. from Aquinas College and her M.A. in mathematics from the University of Detroit.
She taught mathematics and computer science at Siena Heights University, Bloomsburg University and Olive Harvey College.
Toni was very active in the communities wherever she lived. Her main passion was helping others.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Dr. Elizabeth "Betsi" Walton and Laura Jane Walton Clark.
Toni is survived by her husband, Tim Carroll, of South Haven; one daughter, JJ (Jeff Lane) Lane Carroll, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two granddaughters, Jenna and Jayda Lane; one brother, Bob (Marsha) Walton, of Traverse City; nieces, Amy Lynn Walton and Katie Carroll; and nephews, Nate Walton and Jon Carroll.
