APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. — Dorothy M. Lewis, 96, of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Traverse City, died Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, 2011, in Apache Junction.
She was born June 19, 1915, to Lester and Gertrude (Milbert) Wheeler. Dorothy was married to Charles Lewis on June 19, 1948, in Alaska.
She leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Charles Lewis; sons, Todd (Bobbie) Lewis and Gene (Betty) Smith; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gordon (Helen) Wheeler).
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mildred Reddy and Iva Baker; and a brother, Ray Wheeler.
Services have taken place.
