WILLIAMSBURG — Baird McIntosh "Mac" Thomas, 62, of Williamsburg, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at his home. He was born on April 30, 1949, in Kalamazoo, the son of the late Baird and Margaret (Renault) Thomas.
Mac was employed at Fox Motors in Traverse City.
His hobbies included fishing, boating and spending time with his friends and family.
Surviving Mac are his sons, Justin M. (Kimberly) Thomas, of Williamsburg, and Ryan M. Thomas, of Petaluma, Calif.; his brothers, Lawrence Thomas, of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Theodore Thomas, of Olympia, Wash.; his nephews, Nathan and Joshua Thomas, of Olympia, Wash.; and friends, Jessica and Abigail Olheiser.
Mac was preceded in death by his brother, William Thomas; and dear friend, Pamela Olheiser.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at 11 a.m., at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Elk Rapids.
