Glen A. Woodin

GRANDVILLE — Glen Arthur Woodin, 69, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Spectrum Health Heart Center, surrounded by family.

Glen was a very proud U.S. Marine.

He resided in Grandville and was a longtime resident of South Boardman.

He loved to travel and spend time with his grandchildren. Glen was an amazing husband, father and papa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Niles and Lucille Woodin; brother, Richard Woodin; and sisters, Maxine Wilson and Shirley Sanford.

Glen will be lovingly remembered by his wife of over 40 years, Sally; children, Timothy and Sally Woodin and Glenna and John Van Iwaarden; grandchildren, Trent, Nicole, John III, Glen Michael, Austin, Kyle, Jordan, Kody, Parker and Catie; great-grandchildren, Trista and Remington; his German daughter, Claudia and Chris Krulauf, and their children, Emila and Clara; brother, George and Joann Woodin; sister, Marion Lake; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 19, at 2 p.m., at the American Legion Post #463 in South Boardman, with Pastor Dan Biteman presiding. Friends and relatives may meet the family at the American Legion for visitation from noon to 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the American Legion Post #463 in South Boardman.
