TRAVERSE CITY — The Bielas family sadly announces the passing of Jeffrey Bielas. Born in Orlando, Fla., on Aug. 6, 1960, Jeff was 52 and passed quietly in his sleep at home on Oct. 5, 2012, due to complications from cancer.
Jeff lived a full life surrounded by dear friends, loving family and business associates. A longtime resident of Traverse City, it was the city and its many traditions he and his family were so involved in that kept him busy.
Jeff lived life with zeal running a successful plumbing business, volunteering in the community and participating in different sports. Jeff loved his family and being one of five siblings, loved to see everyone get together.
A loving husband, father, pappy, son and brother, Jeff is survived by his wife, Marlene; daughter, Toni; and his two grand-ladies, Isabella and Mackenzie.
Jeff lived life with intensity; his optimism and positive attitude touched all with whom he was involved. We will all miss him dearly.
His life will be celebrated at the Traverse City Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2055A Four Mile Road N., Traverse City, MI, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012. Visitation with family will be from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and during refreshments following the service.
