ROYAL OAK —
Marie Luise Moehring, 85, died March 8, 2012.
She enjoyed painting, crafts and reading, especially her Bible.
She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. James Edward Moehring; loving mother of Nancy (Victor) Lunsman, Marjorie (David) Lewan, James Gerald (Marcia) Moehring and John W.C. (Helena) Moehring; dear sister of Elizabeth (Gerald) Moehring, Theodore Schubach and the late Conrad Schubach; and the proud grandmother of Angela (Stewart) Lambert, Melissa (Brian) O’Connor, Philip (Amy) Lewan, Harvey (Jeanne) Lunsman, Daniel (Alicia) Lewan, Matthew Lewan, Sarah Lewan, Samuel Moehring, Zachary Moehring and the late MacKenzie Moehring. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the William Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Road (four blocks east of Woodward), Royal Oak. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Glen Eden Memorial Park East, Macomb Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to St. Anne’s Mead Assisted Living in Southfield, where Luise received excellent oversight and care since 2007, or Concordia Theological Seminary – Student Scholarship Fund, Fort Wayne, Ind.
