TRAVERSE CITY --Patricia "Patty" Ward, 49 of Traverse City passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at her home.
Patty was born on Jan. 18, 1963, in Fort Carson, Colo., to Arthur and Karla (de Caluewe) Gath. She married Todd Michael Ward on June 20, 1981.
Patty worked as a nurse's assistant, an office manager and founded Patty's Cleaning Service. She enjoyed crafting and scrapbooking. She also enjoyed cooking and watching the cooking channel. Above all else, Patty loved spending time with her family, especially her two children.
Surviving Patty are her husband Todd; children Chastity (Brian) Shoup, and Cody Ward; her mother Karla; siblings Arthur Gath, Richard (Ruth Anne) Gath, Michael (Debbie Visnaw) Gath, and Victoria (Ryan) Heath; and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 2 p.m. at her home.
