MANCELONA — Howard E. "Bill" Richards Sr., 92, of Mancelona, passed away Dec. 22, 2012.
A lifelong resident of Mancelona, he was born on Feb. 8, 1920, to John and Creola (Howard) Richards. He was a veteran, serving in the Army in World War II, and a lifelong farmer.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen, and second wife, Edith, as well as his brother Paul.
He is survived by his children, Connie (Sia) Negaran, Howard (Mary) Richards, James (Judy) Richards, and Cathy (Bob) Windham; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, John and Harry; and special friend, Evalyn Fleet.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation has taken place per his wishes.
The family is being served by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
