BENZONIA — Patricia K. Barnett of Benzonia, 65, died Dec. 20, 2012 at home. Born in Kalkaska on Dec. 27, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Texas and Betty McDonald.
Patricia was a devoted mother and very involved with her family, she especially loved celebrating Christmas with everyone near. She was known for her baked beans at family dinners. She loved playing poker with family and friends.
She is survived by her children Lori (Kim) Stiles, Roy (Gail) Barnett, Michelle Green and Texas Barnett; seven grandchildren and siblings, Barbara Gragg, Edward (Judy) McDonald, Wayne (Yvonne) McDonald, Brian (Donna) McDonald, Mitch McDonald and Mike (Angie) McDonald.
She was also preceded in death by siblings, Charles McDonald, Chris Wardlow and Dreama Demeter.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 3 at Jowett Family Funeral Homes, 7223 South St., Benzonia, with Pastor Dan Ingersoll officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Jowett Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Benzonia.
