TRAVERSE CITY — Sally M. Roden, 76, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 at her home in Traverse City. Mrs. Roden was born Nov. 3, 1936 in Grand Blanc, the daughter of Basil and Nellie (Campbell) Wilcox.
Sally was known for her needlepoint and operated Sal's Stitches in Grand Blanc and Needle Point For You in Auburn Hills. She then moved to Traverse City and helped her son Greg run the Ciao Bella Restaurant. Sally loved to travel.
Surviving are her sons, Greg Roden, Kevin (Donna) Roden; grandchildren, Haley and Brandon; sister, Sue Thompson. Mrs. Roden was preceded in death by her husband Richard Roden.
Friends may visit the family from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, at the Hill Funeral Home in Grand Blanc. The Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 at the funeral home.
