KALKASKA — Arlene Ruth Henshaw-Markus, 63, of Kalkaska, passed away on Feb. 15, 2012, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Arlene cherished being a mother and grandmother; she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, John Markus; children, Everett (Shan) Henshaw, Tena (Ralph) Hazel, Tim Ingersoll, Amee (Wayne) Bergmann and Dylan Henshaw; grandchildren, Amanda, Shada, Ashley, Buddy, Amber, Ryan, Ayshya, Tim, Tora, Ty, Stephen, Hayden, Alexandria, Nickolas, Drew and Carley; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Hailee; siblings, Richard (Josie) and Brenda (John); and dear friend, Pat Szymchack.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Barbara Parritt; and sister, Judy Ann.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, beginning at 9 a.m., until the funeral service at 11 a.m., in the Chapel of Kalkaska Funeral Home, 152 S. Cedar Street, Kalkaska. Pastor Jeff Badgero will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, payable to Amee Bergmann, c/o Kalkaska Funeral Home, PO Box 1457, Kalkaska, MI 49646.
