TRAVERSE CITY —
Anne Taylor Cain, age 83, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2012, outside of Grand Rapids.
Anne had many interests and an active thirst for knowledge. She carried on the family's special regard for nature and supported several wildlife charities.
She is survived by her brother, Ben (Amy Jane) Taylor, of Suttons Bay; sons, Jonathan (Michele) Cain, of Alexandria, Va., and Matthew (Brenda) Cain, of Grand Rapids; and three grandchildren.
Anne will rest in Leelanau County, a place she loved throughout her lifetime. Private family services will be held.
Memorials may be made to the Nature Conservancy or Sierra Club.
