TRAVERSE CITY — Lisa Irene Bugo, 33, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at her family's home, surrounded by her loving family.
Lisa was born on June 22, 1979, to James L. and Paula M. (Hall) Hemgesberg, in Flint. She married Leo Bugo on Sept. 24, 2000, in Traverse City.
Lisa loved to decorate, refurbish furniture and try new recipes in the kitchen.
Most important to Lisa was her faith. She was a member and minister at Rivers of Life Fellowship. She was very involved with and enjoyed the Women's and Children's Ministry.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Leo; parents, James and Paula; her brother, Luke (Tonia) Hemgesberg; nieces, Jordan and Taylor; mother-in-law, Bridget Bugo; and many other loving family members and friends.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Leo Bugo.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., with visitation one hour prior, on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
