Paul H. Block II


MUSKEGON -- Mr. Paul H. Block II, 52, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, Nov. 1, 2009.

He was born in Saginaw on Feb. 25, 1957, to Lewis "Don" and Joyce M. (Roggow) Block. He had lived in Traverse City before moving to Muskegon in 2002.

Paul was a veteran of the United States Navy. He had been employed by Triple D Orchards as a truck driver before he retired. After his retirement, he became an active member of ABATE Region 5. Paul was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and loved his family and friends.

On March 27, 1999, Paul married the former Gail A. Davis in Lake Ann. She survives him, along with one daughter, Charity (Kristopher) Laduke; two step-children, Melanie (Timothy) Kosturik and Michael (Melissa) Walden; five grandchildren; his mother, Joyce Wagner; three brothers, Michael Block, Rudolph Wagner, Michael Wagner; two sisters, Joanne Coates and Tammy Wagner; two step-brothers, BJ Arntz and Allan Arntz; one step-sister, Linda Spayth; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis D. Block, and his step-sister, Kathleen Strudgeon.

A Celebration of Paul's Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at The Landmark Bar and Grill, 1308 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon.
