RAPID CITY — Irene "Rene" D. Bielski, age 85, of Rapid City, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Munson Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 19, 1927, in Detroit, to the late Walter and Anna Sierengoski.
Rene had been a resident of Rapid City since moving there from Roseville in 1991.
She retired from the Village Market in Alden after 20 years of service.
Rene enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving children, Debi Bielski and Joe (Robin) Bielski, both of Rapid City; her cherished grandsons, Johnny (Tonja), Joey and Justin; two-and-a-half precious great-grandchildren, Logan, Laela and baby Bielski due to arrive in February 2013; and her beloved dog, Roxy and her baby cat, Sassy.
Rene was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Wally.
A memorial service for Rene will be held on Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at 1 p.m., with visitation being held the two hours prior to the service, at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home.
