TRAVERSE CITY —
Sharon Evelyn Wright, 70, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 28, 2012.
Sharon was born on Oct. 28, 1941, in Detroit, to the late William and Evelyn (Nestor) Hunn. She married her high school sweetheart Russell George Wright on June 27, 1959. Together they lovingly raised three wonderful children.
Sharon retired from IBM. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, traveling, playing games and old television shows. Most importantly, Sharon enjoyed her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Surviving Sharon is her husband Russell; children, Virginia Diane (Murad) Erguven, Robert Charles (Susan) Wright, Terry Ann Green; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many other loving family members and friends.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
