SAGINAW — Dorothy E. Seeley, age 93, of Saginaw, went to be with the Lord Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Covenant Cooper in Saginaw. Mrs. Seeley was born Dec. 7, 1919, in Traverse City, the daughter of Anthony and Grace (Struble) Eikey.
Dorothy was a member of Immanuel Bible Church and had worked at Holy Cross Book Store in Saginaw from 1982 until 2007.
Surviving are her children, Toni (Pat) Bearss, Steve (Judy) Seeley and Lexie (Llewelyn) Keie; grandchildren, Joel Seeley, Naomi (Josh) Wight, Rachel Seeley, Christina Seeley, Jonathan Seeley, Corissa (Brad) Messing, Brandon (Hilary) Keie, Tara (Doug) Tomman, Shane Bearss (Ethel Huggins) and Casey (Andi) Bearss; great-grandchildren, Michael Seeley, Lilliana Wight and Kaelynn Messing; and sister, Betty Routsong.
Mrs. Seeley was preceded in death by her husband, Ward Seeley; and her brother, William (Bill) Eikey.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., with visitation from noon, Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Immanuel Bible Church, 5433 N. Center Road, Saginaw, MI. Dr. Mark Hazen will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Bible Church or Missionary Paul Dye.
