TRAVERSE CITY —
Ruth Estelle Reeves, 91, of Traverse City and formerly of Minneapolis, Minn., passed away Monday, June 11, 2012, at Grand Traverse Pavilions in Traverse City. Ruth was born on Nov. 14, 1920, to the late James and Julia (Silver) Stallard in St. Louis, Mo.
She is survived by her loving family; her three children, Claudette (Keith) Johnson, of Traverse City, Jim (Renee) Reeves, of Minnesota, and Elizabeth (Greg) Reeves-Fortney, of California; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse T. Reeves in 1983.
Private family services will be held.
Memorial contributions in Ruth's name may be directed to Grand Traverse Pavilions.
The family is being served by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
