TRAVERSE CITY — Brian J. Baker, age 55, died on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He was born on June 6, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio, to William E. and Marilyn A. (Stansberry) Baker.
Survivors are his father and stepmother, Bill and Rita Baker, of Beaver Dam, Wis.; sister, Dianna (Terry) Shark, of Alpharetta, Ga.; brother, Ronald E. Baker of Sturtevant, Wis.; four nieces, Kimberly Shark, of Gainesville, Ga., Cindy (David) Hanson, of Navarre, Fla., Heather Baker, of Racine, Wis., and Kristen (Chad) Brodsko, of Fox Point, Wis.; three great-nieces, Sage, Avery and Reese Hanson, of Navarre, Fla.; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother in 1975.
The visitation for Brian will be at Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Wis., today, June 15, 2012, from 9:30 until 11 a.m.,with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. Fr. Michael L. Wild will officiate. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Brian J. Baker's name to Traverse City Hospice, c/o Munson Medical Center, 1105 Sixth Street, Traverse City, MI 49684.
