Oscar Contest

The nominations are in so let the guessing begin. The Record-Eagle’s annual Oscar contest has great movie-related prizes; all you have to do is pick the winners. Have fun and good luck.

The Oscars will air live Sunday, Feb. 24. Contest results will be published in the Record-Eagle's Arts & Entertainment section Friday, March 1.

Prizes

Grand prize: All-access pass for two to the State Theatre, downtown Traverse City, good for one year

Second place: Two passes good from March 8-Dec. 31, 2013, at Frankfort’s Garden Theater (Film Festival excluded)

Third place: 26-week, seven-day subscription to the Traverse City Record-Eagle, with two Carmike movie passes

Fourth place: Four passes, popcorn and pop at the Bay Theatre in Suttons Bay

Fifth place (2 winners): Four Carmike movie passes

The Fine Print

  • Only one entry per person, and one entry per household.
  • Contest is open to residents of Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Antrim and Kalkaska counties only.
  • Submissions from this form will not be accepted after 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 22, 2013.
  • Traverse City Film Festival and State Theatre employees and volunteer managers (both past and present) and Record-Eagle employees and their families are not eligible to win.
