TRAVERSE CITY — Traverse City Central senior Courtney Dye earned first-team Division 2 All-State honors in golf.
Dye tied for eighth in the state meet, firing a 167. The Trojans took ninth as a team.
Central, Glen Lake, Grayling and Petoskey received Academic All-State team honors. That's determined by taking the GPA of the five girls who represented the schools in the regionals. The average must be computed with a minimum of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Individual Academic All-State honors went to Traverse City Central's Allison Schultz and Nonie Tompkins and Grayling's Angie Rouston. For this award, individuals must be seniors with a GPA of 3.75 or better.
