THOMPSONVILLE — Petoskey and Manistee/St. Francis each swept a ski meet Monday at Crystal Mountain.
In the Benzie Invite, Manistee/SF won the girls meet with 41 points and the boys meet with 51 points. Grayling was second in the girls (94) and Mt. Pleasant was second in the boys (92).
For Manistee/SF, Nathalie Kenny won the slalom (52.4), Andrea Paine was third (55.75), Krissi Dressler was seventh (59.6) and Lauren Hansen was 10th (1:00.61). Kenny was second in the GS (38.92), Paine was second (41.51), Dressler was eighth (43.76) and Hansen was ninth (43.99).
For the boys, Cole McCardel won the GS (38.23), Stephen Siddall was second (38.86), Tyler Hansen was third (39.43) and Casey Kelley was seventh (40.48). Siddall won the slalom (48.27), Hansen was third (50.82), Kelley was 12th (58.86) and Chris Duswinka was 22nd (1:04.96).
Also on the hill Monday was the Grayling Invite. Petoskey won the girls (54) over Manistee/SF (57), as well as the boys (44) meet over Manistee/SF (70).
Kenny won the GS (41.77), Paine was fourth (43.17), Dressler was seventh (45.44) and Hansen was 13th (46.97). Paine was fourth in the slalom (51.17), Dressler was seventh (54.3), Hansen eighth (55.04) and Syriah Dobis 13th (57.45).
Siddall won the slalom (44.4), Hansen was third (45.86), Kelley was 19th (53.45) and McCardel 28th (57.08). McCardel won the GS (40.54), Siddall was second (41.15), Hansen was seventh (42.41) and Kelley was ninth (43.01).
