— GAYLORD — Traverse City Central shocked crosstown rival Traverse City West in the first round of the Class A district boys basketball tournament at Gaylord on Monday night. The Trojans won 42-39, ending a four-game losing streak in the series with the Titans.
TC Central next plays Marquette in the district semifinals on Wednesday.
