MANISTEE — Suttons Bay repeated as district soccer champions Saturday with a 2-0 win over Reed City.
The Norse (15-4-3) will play Howard City at 7 p.m. Tuesday once again at Manistee in the Division 3 regional semifinal.
In Saturday's win, Brandey Albarado scored on a penalty kick in the first half. Kali Moyer scored in the second half off a Justine Sourie assist.
Brittany Mikowski was in net for Suttons Bay and recorded her 12 shutout of the season.
Suttons Bay was one of two Leelanau County schools to claim districts Saturday. Glen Lake defeated TC Liberty 2-1.
The Manistee regional winner advances to the semifinals June 16 at Hope College.
