Cadillac stood tall on fourth down, stopping TC West twice inside the 10-yard line in the second half for a 21-16 victory.
Cadillac rolled to a 33-6 victory over Gaylord, while TC West likewise steamrolled Alpena 42-0. With a defensive line that averages almost 275 pounds across the front four, the Vikings held the Blue Devils to under 100 yards of total offense and gained 337 themselves. Tanner Derror led Cadillac with 114 rushing yards, and quarterback Jalen Brooks had 80 yards on the ground and a pair of touchdowns. West was paced by three touchdowns from QB Donny Cizek (two pass, one run) and Griffin Forrester ran fro 11 yards and a TD.

"We've got to be able to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Their D-line goes 295, 280, 260, 260. Our biggest kid is Connor Hayes at about 265 and then after that it drops off.
