Jeremy Joseph Wolf

KINGSLEY — Jeremy Joseph Wolf, 29, of Buckley, went to heaven on Feb. 9, 2012, at Munson Medical Center, after years of complications due to Prader-Willi syndrome. Born April 26, 1982, in Traverse City, he was the son of Joseph and the late Carolyn (Bott) Wolf.

Jeremy was an unforgettable living angel who spent his entire life looking after and caring for other people. His infectious smile and bright blue eyes changed the lives of many.

He graduated from Kingsley Areas Schools, where he was an avid sports fan. He spent many years as the football and basketball manager. He loved his job and "his" team.

Jeremy had a special gift and love for animals. They loved him just as much as he loved them. Eliza and Aspen were among the most recent of his beloved pets. He was a member of the 4-H Rickety Ranchers for many years and was a veteran at all the 4-H events.

Jeremy's love for helping people inspired him to work for and with various non-profit health and human services in the area.

Jeremy's number one priority was his family. He was the very proud uncle of Carolyn and Nolan Wolf and their pet, Emma. His dad and big brother, Justin were his heroes. In addition to several family members, Jeremy had several friends and "buddies" that will miss him dearly.

He was loved and will be greatly missed by is father, Joseph Wolf; brother, Justin (Jenifer) Wolf; niece, Carolyn; nephew, Nolan; grandparents, Stanley (Doris Ann) Wolf, and Eileen and Stephen Cordoba; aunts and uncles, Frank (Marilyn) Bott, William (Nancy) Bott, Owen (Judy) Bott, Ron (Agnes) Bott, Dave (Joni) Wolf, Rene (Janice) LeVassuer and Kris (Kathy) Weber; many cousins; and several very good friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Wolf (Bott); grandparents, Frank and Mabel Bott (Oyler); and beloved puppy, Eliza.

The family would like to thank everyone who loved and helped Jeremy throughout his life. A special thank you goes to his friend and caregiver, Kimmy Gatzke, who is an amazing person.

Visitation will be held at Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley on Sunday, Feb. 12, from 3 to 8 p.m., with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's of Hannah at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 13.

Contributions can be directed to St. Mary's of Hannah, Munson Medical Center or Cherryland Humane Society.
