CHARLEVOIX -- Frankfort and Charlevoix will help StrikeOut Cancer on Friday.
The two softball teams, in conjunction with the National Fast-Pitch Coaches Association and American Cancer Society, will play a doubleheader at Charlevoix as part of the national StrikeOut Cancer initiative. Both teams will wear pink uniforms. Cancer survivors will throw out the first pitch of each game.
An information booth will be set up for T-shirts, cancer information, and donations. Donations can be made to Frankfort High School, Charlevoix High School or The American Cancer Society.
