BEULAH -- Lake Leelanau St. Mary's swept the nine-team Benzie Invitational Monday at Champion Hills Golf Course.
The Eagles won the team meet with a 306 while Michael Pendergast won a two-hole playoff to earn medalist honors.
Pendergast beat Glen Lake's Matt Abramson in the playoff after both finished with a 73.
St. Mary's 306 was followed by Glen Lake with 323 and Benzie with 359. Manistee finished with 361, Kingsley shot 388, TC Christian shot 396 and TC Prep had 407.
The Eagles also had 76 from Bradford Schaub while Paul Bardenhagen, Joe Pendergast and Adam Peplinski shot 79. The Lakers had a 75 from Matt O'Brien, 87 from Paul Watkowski and an 88 from Steve King.
Benzie's scores included 79 from Samuel Hohn, 89 from Hunter Bryan, 93 from Brad Frostic and 98 from Troy Barley.
Manistee's Kody Elzinga shot 81, Casey Hagan had 89, Greg Olsen had 93 and John Nesbury shot 98. Kingsley had 92 from Tom Regenold, TC Christian had 85 from Nathan Banks and Nikolaj Brons-Piche shot 81 for TC Prep.

Chloe Wrona/Haley Smith won No. 1 doubles (6-3, 7-6), Jennifer Payne/Mackenzie Fedorinchik took the second flight (6-4, 6-0), Abby Skibowski/Eryl Masters won the third (3-6, 6-3, 7-6) and Brianna DeBolt/Ericka Behrendt took the fourth (6-0, 6-1).

It took overtime, but Burt Lake Northern Michigan Christian stayed unbeaten with a 3-2 Northern Michigan Soccer League win over host Forest Area.
The Eagles (11-0, 7-0 NMSL) led 2-0 with less than 4 minutes to go when the Warriors (2-9) made it 2-1 off a HaPoung Pogade goal from Camille Tornow. Burt Lake NMC then put one in its own net to tie the game with 27 seconds left. Melinda Robinson got credit for the goal for Forest Area.
In the second overtime, Lauren Gall netted the game-winner with a minute to go.
Gall had two goals and an assist for the Eagles while Alyssa Oram scored the other goal. Bethany Chatfield made 10 saves for the win. Tina Preston made 15 saves for Forest Area.

Jessi Heger scored four goals for the Liberty (10-3-1, 8-3 LMC) while Helene Dryden and Kelly Ritsema had two goals. Ritsema and Kylie Argyle each had two assists while Heger and Dryden added one.
Mary Raetz earned the shutout in net.

Elk Rapids stayed undefeated with a 4-0 Lake Michigan Conference win over Harbor Springs.
The Elks (11-0-4, 10-0 LMC) had a goal and an assist from Elin Larsen while Kelyse McKeon, Nina Barraco and Bazel Shaw each added goals.
Maggie Marshall made two saves to earn the shutout.

Olivia Catt led the Rayders (11-2-1 overall) with two goals. K.C. McCary, Abbey Barnes, Hallie Bills, Kelly Greyerbiehl and Taylor Smith also tallied. Meredith Rich contributed two assists while McCary and Madison Way had one apiece. Tammy Potter turned aside five shots on goal.

Tyler Shaffran threw a no-hitter to lead Lake Leelanau St. Mary's to a Cherryland Conference sweep of Leelanau.
Shaffran's no-hitter came in a 16-1 win in the first game as he tallied seven strikeouts. The Eagles (16-1-1, 8-0 CL) had two hits from Layton Korson, Ray Platts tripled and scored three times while Kienan Sutton had a triple and four RBIs.
Sutton had two hits in the 7-4 nightcap while Korson pitched the win.
Leelanau had three hits from Ben Rode.

Mancelona raised its record to 18-0 with a 5-1 and 2-0 non-conference sweep of Boyne City.
Taylor Borst earned the win in relief in the seven-inning opener. Tyler Hartzel led the Ironmen with three hits. Borst added two.
Kodi Balhorn tossed a six-hit shutout in game two.
The Ironmen scored a run in the second as Borst tripled in Nick Lockman. They added an insurance tally in the sixth when Cody Christmas was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
Borst had two in that game, too.

Clayton Mitchell did it all in Charlevoix's 14-0 win over Traverse City Christian in the opener of a doubleheader.
Mitchell pitched a four-hit shutout, striking out six for the Rayders (5-17). At the plate, he went 4-for-4, scored three runs and drove in three. He had a double and triple among his hits.
Alex Foster, Michael Heckendorn and Morgan Stewart added two hits. They all scored two runs. Heckendorn and Foster drove in two.
Charlevoix won the nightcap 15-1 as Coby Herriman tossed a two-hitter, striking out 11. Herriman, Heckendorn and Jordan Farmer led the attack with two hits and two RBIs.

Winning pitcher Ryan Crawley helped his own cause with a hit, walk and three RBIs as Central Lake defeated East Jordan 10-6 in the first of two non-conference games.
Adam Folsom added two hits for the Trojans (15-9).
East Jordan won the nightcap 9-2. Zach Patton led Central Lake with two hits.

Freshman Ashley Derrer singled in Shantelle Adams with the winning run in the sixth inning as Mancelona edged Boyne City 1-0 in the opener of a non-conference doubleheader.
Mieke Scaggs pitched a two-hit shutout for Mancelona (12-8).
Mancelona won the nightcap 14-3 as Brooke Orman fired a four-hitter.
Cheyenne McCormick, Maggie Shanahan, Sam Watkins and Lisa Luton all had two hits in the win. Shanahan and Luton drove in three runs apiece. Shanahan also scored three times.
