LANSING — Mary Raetz scored 22 points as the Traverse City Lady Bulldogs captured their fifth homeschool state championship in six years with a 53-35 win over the Capitol Homeschool Athletic Program (CHAP).
Kasey Acton added 13 points, 12 steals and nine rebounds for the Bulldogs, who finished 15-0. Rachel Crosby contributed seven points, 14 rebounds, five assists, five steals and five blocked shots.
For the Bulldogs, it was their 10th appearance in the finals since starting a homeschool team in 1996.
