TRAVERSE CITY — The Le Grand Traverse Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society will conduct a tree planting project at the Traverse City State Forest Area on April 21.
Participants are to meet in the Michigan Department of Natural Resources' Yates Road clear-cut cite at 10 a.m. The entrance to the DNR parking area is at the intersections of Plagany and Thompsonville roads. Attendees should bring a shovel and work gloves. A box lunch will be provided.
