Blues bounce back vs. Detroit
The TC Blues bounced back from a tough loss with a 29-20 victory over the Detroit Tradesmen on Saturday.
The Blues (2-1) lost to the U-M Alumni last week, 77-5.
In Saturday's win, Ryan Fortune had a score and two conversions. Josh Benghauser had two scores while Matt Wilcox and Roy Mannenin each had one score. Nick Pfropper also had a big match.
The Blues only took 15 players for the match. They host the Flint Rogues at the Civic Center next weekend.
Goose Kallunki drove in three runs Friday night as Joliet beat the Traverse City Beach Bums 5-2 in a Frontier League season opener.
