FREMONT — Traverse City Central's JV Black team finished ninth at the Fremont Invitational Saturday at Briar Hill Golf Course.
The Trojans shot 408 behind a 97 from Abby Palisin, 102 from Lauren Cutler, 103 for Zoe Sobeck and 106 from Nonie Tompkins.
Muskegon Reeths-Puffer was champ with 344 while Muskegon Catholic Central's Ava Johnson was medalist with 72.

Benzie sixth at Frankenmuth Invite
Benzie Central finished sixth at Friday's Frankenmuth Invitational.
The Huskies (17-5-1) lost to Saginaw Valley Lutheran (25-22, 14-25, 18-16) and Marion (25-9, 27-25), but beat Marlette (25-21, 25-17) and Hillsdale (25-21, 25-18) in pool play. Then they lost to Carlton-Airport (25-19, 19-25, 15-9) in the quarterfinals.
Sara Thurkettle had 37 kills, 13 blocks and six aces, Madison Lutzke had 18 kills, Haeley Melton had 47 digs and Raenee Harig had 77 assists.
