TRAVERSE CITY — Bums win, 9-0
Reid Kelly pitched a two-hit shutout Saturday as the Traverse City Beach Bums opened a Frontier League homestand with a 9-0 whitewash of London.
Kelly struck out nine.
Traverse City, leading 1-0, erupted for five runs in the fifth. Three crossed the plate on a Jeff Flagg home run.
Sean Gusrang added a solo blast for Traverse City.
The teams collide again tonight at 5:05.
