---- — TRAVERSE CITY — Lake Superior State senior Maria Blazejewski (Benzie Central) earned all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference recognition in basketball.
Blazejewsk, a 6-0 senior forward, was named to the first team. She averaged 17.8 points per game to finish second in the GLIAC in scoring. She also ranked third in free-throw percentage at 86.8. She finished her career with 1,585 points to rank fifth on LSSU’s career scoring list. She finished fifth in career free-throw percentage (.802).
