TRAVERSE CITY -- The honors keep coming in for Traverse City St. Francis.
Fresh off a fifth-place finish in the Division 4 state finals, the Gladiators recently saw their No. 1 doubles team earn All-State honors.
St. Francis seniors Sean Paquet and Newton Calcutt were named one of nine doubles teams to earn Division 4 All-State accolades.
The tandem compiled a 30-8 record this season, including a win in the state finals. They also picked up several wins against Division 1 opponents.
Traverse City Central's No. 1 doubles team of Chris Heimburger and Peter Pappas earned honorable mention recognition in Division 1 after a 38-2 record.
In Division 3, Cadillac's P.J. O'Hagan was an honorable mention singles player while Petoskey's tandem of Cam Muller and Tyler Romanick earned honorable mention honors as well.
Harbor Springs coach Denny Green was named the Division 4 Coach of the Year. He led the Rams to the state finals and holds a 87-32 dual record in his 12 years of coaching.
