Protesters blast emergency manager

DETROIT — A few dozen people protested the possible appointment of an emergency manager for Detroit outside an event where Gov. Rick Snyder had a Friday speaking engagement.

The demonstration outside the Detroit Athletic Club was the second in two days.

The Detroit Free Press reports that about 75 people took part in a vehicle caravan that disrupted traffic Thursday on Interstate 75 and ended with a rally downtown.
