LIVONIA — Michigan authorities said a man went to his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend's home, where he axed her mother and new boyfriend to death and injured the girl, then killed himself with a shot to the head.
Lt. Thomas Goralski said the girl called Livonia police about 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, saying two people were dead and she was injured.
Goralski identified the killer as 19-year-old Brian D. White. The lieutenant said White killed 46-year-old Angela Staperfene and 19-year-old Jacob L. Burns with axe blows to the head.
The lieutenant said White also attacked his ex-girlfriend before committing suicide. She was treated at a hospital and released.
