TRAVERSE CITY — Emma Hanrahan of Traverse City and Jason Loudermilk of Troy, Mich., exchanged marriage vows on Sept. 1, 2012, on property owned by a family friend. The bride's brother, Joe Hanrahan of Traverse City, officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony.
Kelly Werth of Dearborn attended her best friend as maid of honor. Emma's goddaughter, Piper Hinz of Ypsilanti, was the flower girl.
Jason chose his best friend, Chris Burja of Troy, as his best man. The bride's brother, David Hanrahan of Traverse City, was the usher.
A reception was hosted at a family friend's property in Traverse City following the ceremony. The newlyweds honeymooned in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and are settling into their first home in Commerce Township, Mich.
Emma is the daughter of Paul and Jenny Hanrahan of Traverse City. She graduated from Traverse City West Senior High School and received a bachelor of applied arts degree from Central Michigan University.
Emma currently works for Renew Hair & Skin Center in Bingham Farms, Mich., as director of operations.
Jason is the son of Mike and Cathy Loudermilk of Troy and Lisa Fitzpatrick of Sterling Heights. He graduated from Troy High School and received an associate degree in applied science and a certificate in photographic science from Oakland Community College.
Jason is the owner of Jason Loudermilk Photography and co-owner of Natural Light Studio in Metro Detroit.
