TRAVERSE CITY — The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has named former Traverse City North Star Kyle Bonis as its Offensive Player of the Week following Ferris State's sweep over Notre Dame.
Bonis scored the first two Bulldog goals in Friday's 3-0 win and added an assist on the third goal. He then went on to add the game-winning assist in Saturday's 5-1 victory. He finished the weekend with a plus-four efficiency rating.
It's the second time Bonis has earned the weekly honor.
The No. 1 ranked Bulldogs are 20-8-4, 14-6-4 in the conference. They are 9-0-3 since the start of the new year.
Bonis served as Traverse City team captain in 2008-09.
