FERN IRENE FRANTZ, 84, of Kalkaska, passed away on Dec. 24, 2012 at Munson Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on at 12 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 29, in the Chapel of Kalkaska Funeral Home.

Final visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in Excelsior Township Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements were entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

LLOYD L. HAMMOND, 85 of Traverse City passed away Dec. 26, 2012 at the Grand Traverse Pavilions. The family is being served by Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

EILEEN ROSE NEWMAN, 84 of Traverse City, passed away on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at Munson Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, with a rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 29, at St. Francis Catholic Church with a visitation held one hour prior at the church.

A complete obituary will follow in a later edition of the Record-Eagle. The family is being served by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

PATRICK SEVENSKI, 58, of Elmira, died Dec. 25 at home. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, at Nelson Funeral Home in Gaylord. Funeral services begin at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28 at St. Augustine Church in Boyne Falls with visitation one hour prior.

ALLYN H. WRIGHT, 87, of Bellaire, died on Dec. 25, 2012 at his home. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are being handled by the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

DIANA L. YAGLE, 52, of Traverse City died Monday, Dec. 24 at Munson Hospice House. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 31 at St. Francis Church. Visitation is from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 30, at the Covell Funeral Home, Traverse City.
