FRANKFORT — Brennan Flynn hit a three-run home run in the fourth inning to propel Frankfort to a 3-1 win over Manistee Catholic in the nightcap of a baseball doubleheader Wednesday.
Freshman R.J. Kennis tossed a one-hitter, striking out five. The run he allowed was unearned.
Talon Bigley collected two hits for the Panthers (1-3).
Manistee Catholic won the opener, 10-9. Flynn suffered the loss in relief. He also had two hits and drove in three runs. One of his hits was a double.
Frankfort is at Traverse City Christian on Monday.

Manistee CC 6-7 Frankfort 4-6
Mimi Modjeski and Amber Robke picked up wins as Manistee Catholic Central swept a doubleheader from Frankfort, 6-4 and 7-6.
Courtney Bower had two hits in the opener for the Panthers (1-3), while Tami Banktson doubled twice.
Jessica Schaub had a trio of nightcap hits for Frankfort, while Bower and Laura Maier each had two.
Frankfort hosts Bear Lake on Tuesday.
