Pat Geisler of Marietta, Ohio, offered up today's recipe for Hot Fudge Sauce, noting that it's delicious and easy to make.
Pat Geisler's Hot Fudge Sauce
¼ lb. margarine
⅔ c. cocoa powder
1 can evaporated milk
1 box (1 lb. or 3﻿½ c.) powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla
Melt margarine and add cocoa powder. Alternately, add evaporated milk and powdered sugar. Let bubble up after stirring constantly.
Let boil slowly for a few minutes or until it forms somewhat in cold water (drop a couple drops from a teaspoon into a glass of cold water). Cool a short while, then add vanilla. Store in refrigerator.
