BENZONIA -- Michaela Carnegie and Devyn Ramsey won two events apiece as the Benzie Central girls won a four-team Northwest Conference track meet Wednesday.
The Huskies finished with 146 points, Kingsley 68, Buckley 34 and Glen Lake 6.
Carnegie claimed the 400 (1:00) and 800 (2:30.93) while Ramsey captured the 1600 (5:56) and 3200 (11:51).
Benzie's Jill Lousignau won the 100 hurdles (17.54), Corrie Noah the 300 hurdles (52.90), Theresa Warsecke the high jump (4'8"), Sarah Thurkettle the pole vault (8') and Melissa Geetings the long jump (13'11.5").
The Huskies swept the relays -- 400 (56.21), 800 (2:03.92), 1600 (4:38.71) and 3200 (9:13).
Kingsley's Ashley Graves swept the discus (125'7") and shot put (36'3.5").
Buckley's Haley Baldinger won the 100 (13.98) and 200 (29.11).
Mancelona claims meet at Bellaire
Mancelona won just two events but still compiled 95.33 points to win a five-team meet at Bellaire.
The Ironmen were followed by Central Lake (76), Bellaire (70.33), Grand Traverse Academy (59.33) and Forest Area (46).
Jenna Davis won the pole vault (6') for Mancelona, which also took the 400 relay (59.16).
Danielle Haydell paced Central Lake, winning the 1600 (6:09.5) and 3200 (13:09.60). Sarah Lambert captured the 800 (2:48.95) and Jasmine Hines the shot put (38'9") for the Trojans, who also won the 1600 relay (4:56.70).
Forest Area's Marissa Ingersoll swept the 100 (13.13) and 200 (29.0) and Katie Johnson the 100 hurdles (18.15) and 300 intermediates (52.15). Megan Monks picked up a win in the high jump (4'4").
Grand Traverse Academy's Stephanie Horning claimed the long jump (13'11") and 400 (1:05.26). Grand Traverse Academy also won the 800 relay (2:04.90).
Julie Winslow won the discus (93'1") for Bellaire, which also took the 3200 relay (12:24.30).
Suttons Bay wins meet at Frankfort
Olivia Raftshol won two events to help Suttons Bay win a four-team meet at Frankfort.
The Norse racked up 91.5 points, with the hosts second at 65, followed by Manistee (54) and Mesick (44.5).
Raftshol won the 300 hurdles in 51.92 seconds and the 200 in 29.02.
Manistee's Mckenzie Majchrzak won both the long jump (15-10.5) and high jump (5-2).
Rory Price in the 1,600 and Angela Patterson in the discus were Suttons Bay's other event winners.
BOYS TRACK
Nix, Zaleski spark Kingsley to win
Josh Nix swept the hurdles and Dave Zaleski the sprints as Kingsley captured a four-team Northwest Conference boys track meet.
The Stags finished with 116 points, Benzie 107, Buckley 25 and Glen Lake 1.
Nix won the 110 highs (17.61) and 300 intermediates (44.,06) while Zaleski took the 100 (11.48) and 200 (24.40).
Also winning for the Stags: Tom Sedlacek in the 1600 (5:00), Justin Mueller in the long jump (17'4.75"), Travis Sedlacek in the discus (117') and Jared Case in the shot put (43'3.5").
Kingsley also took the 400 (47.01) and 800 (1:37.95) relays.
Nick Radionoff led Benzie, claiming the 400 (56.09) and 800 (2:11.55).
Also winning for the Huskies: Tom Smeltzer in the 3200 (10:49.37), Talon Morris in the pole vault (9'), Ben Thaxton in the high jump (6'1")1
Benzie took the 1600 (3:51.14) and 3200 (11:05) relays.
Helminiak, Zawacki key Manistee win
Ryan Helminiak and Dalton Zawacki each won three events as Manistee won the boys meet with 86 points, 11 ahead of host Frankfort. Suttons Bay finished with 64 and Mesick 28.
Zawacki won the 100 (11.7) and was part of the 400 and 800 relay team victories. Helminiak was on the 800 relay team and claimed the 200 (24.82) and high jump (6-1).
Suttons Bay's Ben Wynsma also won three events, taking the 1,600 (5:12.34), 800 (2:08.08) and 3,200 (11:25.68).
Freeman, Rookus spark Warriors to win
Forest Area's A.J. Freeman captured the 100 (11.28) and 200 (24.91) while teammate Luke Rookus won the 800 (2:23.15) and 1600 (5:04.90) as the Warriors took a five-team meet at Bellaire.
Forest Area finished with 141 points, Bellaire 92, Mancelona 65.5, Central Lake 40.5 and Grand Traverse Academy 14.
The Warriors won five other events -- Jesse Richards in the 400 (50.69), Mitch Core in the high jump (5'1"), Collin Park in the shot put (37'4"), the 400 relay (48.99) and 1600 relay (4:04.70).
Bellaire was paced by Donavan Dawson, who won the 110 high hurdles (16.75), 300 intermediate hurdles (46.13) and pole vault (10'). Ethan Murray captured the long jump (18') for the Eagles, who also took the 3200 relay (9:46.90).
Central Lake's Jordan Becker won the 3200 (11:04.7) and Nolan Howes the discus (124').
