TRAVERSE CITY — A Green Lake Township man faces a felony assault charge.
William Charles Carsten, 58, is charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm and third-offense domestic violence. He was arrested after an Oct. 15 incident at his home.
A woman came to Munson Medical Center with injuries consistent with being strangled and beaten, court records show. Carsten, her boyfriend, was arrested after police interviewed the woman.
