RAPID CITY — Jeremy Schwierking, 18, of Rapid City, passed away Jan. 12, 2013.
Jeremy was born on Sept. 12, 1994, in Traverse City to Douglas Schneider and Stacci Schwierking.
Jeremy was a colorful person who loved music. He was a self-proclaimed Hippie and a fan of Bob Marley. He enjoyed playing Nintendo 64 and spending time with his friends, and niece and nephew. Jeremy loved to drink coffee and could often be found with a hot cup of joe in his hand.
He was currently a senior at Sunrise Academy in Elk Rapids. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Doug and Stacci; twin brother, Jacob; brother, Joseph; sister, Barbi; niece, Jaydin; nephew, Cohnor; grandpa, Jack Schneider; grandma, Barb Miller, and grandpa John Gantner; uncle Bill and aunt Dena Gantner; uncles, Matt (Vanessa) Gantner, Mike Gantner, and Lonnie Gantner; and countless friends whom he considered family.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandma, Connie Schneider; and Mema Irena Franklin.
Visitation for friends and family will take place on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St., Traverse City, MI 49684. The funeral service will also take place at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m.
