TRAVERSE CITY — Deputies are looking for a man who tried to abduct a teen girl on a local trail.
The incident happened today at about noon. A girl, 14, was walking on the TART trail near Three Mile and Parsons roads when a man tried to pull her into the woods. She was able to get away by biting the suspect's arm.
The suspect is described as an older white male with wrinkles, standing nearly six feel tall with blonde hair. He wore blue jeans, a grey pullover shirt with a breast pocket and black gloves. The man has a limp and may have a bite mark on his left arm. Anyone who has seen the man or has information is asked to call 231-922-4550.
