HUGH DOUGLAS BOWLING, 69, of Bear Lake died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at West Shore Medical Center in Manistee. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service. Internment will be in the Bear Lake Township Cemetery.

The family has entrusted the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee with funeral arrangements.

GARY R. FRYE, 82, passed away Feb. 10, 2013 at Munson Medical Center. A memorial service is being planned for the spring. The family is being served by Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

JOHANNA GORALSKI, 89, of Gaylord died on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at home in Gaylord. Services will be held in the spring at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Gaylord Funeral & Cremation Service.

MAXINE LAZAR, 86, of Harrietta, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Mercy Hospital.

A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m., at St. Ann Church in Cadillac. Visitation will be at the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home, Cadillac, Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.

The family is being served by the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home, Cadillac.

HARRIET PESEK, 90, of Starvation Lake (Kalkaska County) died on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at her home. A memorial service will be held in the summer. A full obituary will be published in an upcoming edition. Arrangements were made by Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home, our family serving yours.

JOAN ANN PRAHL, 74, of Sparr died in Gaylord on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013. Services will be held at noon, Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Gaylord Funeral & Cremation Service.

MARJORIE M. RYSZTAK, 87, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at Munson Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb, 16, at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Interlochen.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Traverse City.

CONNIE S. (MARR) SAGANEK, 48, of Alba, formerly of East Jordan, died Feb. 11, 2013 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at noon, Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service, also at the funeral home. The Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes is serving the family.

LAFONNA SPASICH, 90, of Kewadin, passed away peacefully Feb. 8, 2013, at Munson Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Elk Rapids.

ANICE NEWMAN, 88, of Macon, Ga. passed away Feb. 8, 2013. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home. The funeral will also be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 15, at 2 p.m. A complete obituary will appear in a later edition of the Record Eagle. The family is being served by Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
