The funeral service for JOHN F. DICKASON, 67, of Traverse City, who died Sept. 27, 2012, will be held this morning, Oct. 1, at 11 a.m. at The Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
The family is being served by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
VIRGINIA JANE GRIFFITH, 79 of Platte Lake, Benzie County, died Sept. 28, 2012, at home.
Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Frankfort, with Pastor Rick Stieve officiating. Visitation will be the hour prior at the church.
Arrangements are by the Jowett Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Frankfort and Benzonia.
TIMOTHY C. KOLBUSZ, 46, of Grawn, passed away Sept. 28, 2012.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m. at Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley. A memorial gathering will start at 5 p.m. A full obituary will appear in the next edition of the Record-Eagle.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Kingsley.
KARENDA K. KREISER, 63, of Kingsley, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012. Arrangements are pending and have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Kingsley.
LANNY LEE LYON, of Buckley, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, with the family greeting friends from 10 a.m., at the First Church of the Nazarene, Traverse City. A complete obituary will be in Wednesday's edition of the Record-Eagle.
The family chose Life Story Funeral Home, Traverse City, to handle the arrangements.
JULIE MOREY, RN, PHN, BSN and CETN, was born in Traverse City on Jan. 4, 1943, and passed away of pulmonary fibrosis on Sept. 19, 2012, at the age of 69, at Vibra Hospital in San Diego, Calif.
She married Joseph Morey on Sept. 10, 1966, and moved to California in 1975. She was in nursing for 40 years.
Julie is survived by her husband, Joseph Morey; brothers, Coleman Cole and Mike Cole; and many nephews and nieces.
She will be cremated at Frye Chapel in Brawley, Calif.; her ashes will be interred at Fort Rose Crans National Cemetery in San Diego.
CONNIE L. RENOLLET, 61, of Traverse City, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., with the family greeting friends from 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 6, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
The family chose Life Story Funeral Home, Traverse City, to handle the services.
