CHARLESTON, S.C. — Kristin MacKenzie Farley of Traverse City and Ryan Summerell Hussey of Greenville, N.C., were united in marriage June 9, 2012, at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke and St. Paul. The Rev. Dr. Paul Hollingworth Lang officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.
Kristin chose her sister, Brianne Hayes Farley of Brooklyn, N.Y., as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Candice Brewer of Raleigh, N.C., Eleanor Hoffman of Brooklyn, N.Y., Natalie Lawler of Charlotte, N.C., Lauren Stark of Hickory, N.C., and Cora Pellerito of Southgate, Mich. Kristin's cousin, Alexis McCue of Brookings, S.D., was the flower girl.
Ryan's father, Howard S. Hussey III, served as his best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Forcina, David Goldsmith and Scott Schroeder, all of Raleigh, N.C., Kyle Frederick of Greensboro, N.C., and Phillip Scott of Chicago. Ryan's nephews, Ethan Finch and Reid Finch, both of Littleton, Colo., were ring bearers.
The groom's sister, Mary Margaret Finch of Littleton, Colo., and the bride's cousin, Hanna Fanelli of Saginaw, Mich., were readers.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds greeted guests at an evening dinner-dance reception hosted at Wickcliffe House in Charleston. Kristin and Ryan honeymooned in the Cayman Islands and currently live in Charleston.
Kristin is the daughter of Dan and Cameron Farley of Traverse City. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in environmental design in architecture and a bachelor of architecture degree. Kristin is employed as an interior designer at Elizabeth Stuart Designs in Charleston.
Ryan is the son of Peggy and Howard S. Hussey III of Greenville, S.C. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor's degree in environmental design in architecture. Ryan is employed as a quality assurance specialist by Bluegreen Corp. in Charleston.
