TRAVERSE CITY — Kimi Warren of Comstock Park and Bobby Baker of Kalamazoo were united in marriage in a sunrise ceremony on Sept. 29, 2012, at Warren Orchards, the bride's family's fruit farm on Old Mission Peninsula. The groom's sister, Pastor Jen Baker of Sheffield, England, performed the ceremony.
JJ Warren of Shawnee, Kansas, attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmen were the bride's brothers, Jeremiah Warren of Traverse City and Clint Warren of Kingsley.
Josh Moon of Kalamazoo served as his friend's best man. Groomsmaids were Bobby's sister, Tammi Steyn of Rockford, and a friend, Jennifer Eddy of Niles. Caleb and Gage Warren of Traverse City were ring bearers.
Following the ceremony, a breakfast reception was hosted at the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City. The newlyweds honeymooned on a road trip to Freeport, Maine, with stopovers in Niagara Falls, Ontario, upstate New York and the Appalachian Trail. Kimi and Bobby are living in Comstock Park.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Wendy Warren of Traverse City. Kimi graduated from Traverse City Central High School. She received bachelor's degrees in journalism and anthropology and a master's degree in integrated marketing communications, all from Eastern Michigan University. Kimi is director of media services at Great American Media Services in Sparta.
The groom is the son of Bob and Barb Baker of Lawton, Mich. Bobby graduated from Lawton High School and received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Western Michigan University. He is employed as a team lead health-care aide at Clark Retirement Community in Grand Rapids.
